Amidst the ash, sediment and sand of East Iceland, this small flower captivates my eye with its simple resilience. An amazingly strong plant, a Ljósberi perhaps, defies cold, wind and sandstorms with its own unique growth. In June it stretches its blossoms in all directions, in all their beauty.

Colour woodcut based on water colors (Japanese technique, Moku Hanga) on paper.

Comes mounted to cardboard but without frame. It will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and paper and put in a strong cardboard to be best protected for mail transport.

The artwork is signed on the front and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
