Inspired by the lush banana tree plantations in the Canary Islands of Spain, Dominic Virtosu is exploring a way to bring home some of that vacation joy. A way to immortalize the feeling of "Gosh, I wish this was my day to day weather".

Having spent 2 months on the island of Tenerife, the artist's senses were fully immersed in the discovery of this amazing ecosystem. A truly inspiring place for hiking and adventure. One cannot go wrong when choosing a vacation in Tenerife.

This painting represents that spirit: filled with joyful colors, the banana leaves are crowding the canvas - as if to say: "Please come on vacation!"
