Original artwork description:

I spent a lot of time in natural history museums to make anatomically accurate sketches for my future book about prehistoric fauna of Ukraine. During one of these visits, I went to an exhibition of exotic insects and they conquered my mind. So there was a small series of watercolor insects. Three of them, Little Virgin Tiger Moth, Gymnetis stellata and Catacanthus incarnatus, took part in the "Unbreakable Flowers" exhibition that was dedicated to art during the war.

My "Little Virgin Tiger Moth" was awarded by Billy Showell: "So bautifully executed" and achieved a prize.
