"As a child
You are taught
Which position to take

At times
You break free
'Gone with the wind'

As an adult
You choose
Whether to dance
To the beat of your own drum
Or follow the steps
You've been learning your entire life."

Inspired by a ballet performance that my nieces took part in, this painting represents the fun, innocence, hope and aspirations of little girls.
