Much of Sal’s work uses film and cinematography as sources for subjects, focussing on the gestures of fictional characters, the figures have been taken from a scene, presented out of context and re-imagined as paintings; close-up, cropped and re-edited; these paintings capture the action of expression out of context and encourage the viewer to consider the story from which it originated.

It is shipped stretched, framed and ready to hang with fixtures on the back of the stretcher. It is signed on the back of the canvas. Paintings are securely packaged and shipped with a tracking number.
