The latest in my series of pop art food paintings depicts a colourful selection of Liquorice Allsorts. Made by Bassets (est. 1899), these iconic sweets are brightly coloured, delicious, and uniquely British._x000D_ _x000D_ In my painting I've depicted five of the most popular examples of the sweet laid out flat, with precise lines and circles providing the detail, rendering them almost as abstract shapes similar to a Mondrian painting._x000D_ _x000D_ The end result is a bold, bright, and colourful piece that would brighten up any home, but would probably look best in a kitchen, breakfast room, or kids room. It could also be an ideal present for anyone with a sweet tooth. _x000D_ _x000D_ Due to the square nature of the canvas, it can be displayed pretty much any way, even diagonally, as shown in the photos. A picture of someone holding the painting is included to show the relative size. _x000D_ _x000D_ It is painted in acrylics on a stretched cotton canvas that is ready to hang, and signed on the back as pictured. _x000D_ Size -_x000D_ 12 inches x 12 inches_x000D_ 30cm x 30cm_x000D_ 1.5cm thick_x000D_ _x000D_ Postage will be first class, tracked, and packaged safely in cardboard with bubble wrap.
