Original artwork description:

This work, as the title suggests, is about the liquid quality of emotion.  A verdant sea of sensations is ebbing back and forth between two 'gatekeepers', which signify wisdom and time.  Over time, just as the sea sculpts the rock formations of the coastline, these liquid emotions create a form of landscape,  here flecked with oranges and pinks for marks of joy.  

The work is a homage to gratitude - whatever the past looks like, the current emotions we experience continue to define our neural landscape and this is something wondrous and should fill us with awe.
