Original artwork description:

After a vacation, I'm often inspired to paint small paintings out of sheer need to create after so much visual input. This gives me a chance to make small works, outside of my typical oil painting landscapes. Here I wanted to paint some beautiful fish I saw in an aquarium in Orlando Florida.

Gouache on 6x8 gessoed board. The work has been sealed with cold wax and a varnish and need not be framed under glass.

Gouache is an opaque watercolor, and is best displayed ane preserved under glass. Note that photographs are limited and minor differences in hue may exist when viewing image under variable light conditions. However, I do try to render a faithful reproduction of actual colors perceived in daylight.
