Artwork description:

This linocut was inspired by watching the swallows swooping around catching insects during a Summer evening. I was interesting d in depicting the sipped at which they were travelling.
I make my Linocut prints by hand on my etching press. The image was carved out of a piece of artist's Lino and was printed using black oil based ink on acid free thick cartridge paper. This print is one of an edition of 100 and each is numbered and signed.

Please note the actual image size is 30 X 20 cm but the paper size is larger as there is a white border of approximately 3-4 cm around each side of the image to enable you to frame the image as you wish.

This print will be packaged in cellophane and posted in a sturdy envelope, strengthened with card.

Materials used:

Oil based ink
