An original framed landscape painting inspired by the many mountain waterfalls of the British mountains, of the Highlands of Scotland, The Welsh mountains or the English Lake District. In this atmospheric artwork I have tried to capture the mood of these wild places, with their rocky rugged mountain peaks surrounded by heather and bracken moorlands, and rocky streams and small waterfalls.

Painted in muted magenta, green and blue colours with a light blue sky in quality artists oil paint on board, in a modern contemporary impressionist style, using a palette knife and sometimes my fingers instead of brushes, to create an atmospheric painting.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 22.5" x 22.5" (58 x 58cm) board, framed in a modern contemporary square profile white limewash frame, with cord ready to hang.
