Linea_212 is part of a series of multi-color ink and fineliner drawings, taking inspiration from expressive sumi-e painting styles, satellite imagery and Nordic abstraction. Contrasting abstract organic shapes somewhat resembling islands with strong and minimalistic linework, the drawing can be viewed from different viewpoints. From afar, the balanced, overall composition can be viewed, while moving closer, minute details can be looked at, not unsimilar to details structures and patterns in nature. Close inspection reveals a huge amount of detail in the color patches that can be explored (and marveled at).
