Original artwork description:

A walk on the beach is always exhilarating and nowhere more so than in Lincolnshire. There are miles of unspoilt, often, deserted sands and the vast North Sea. It's a great place for inspiration. There is usually a lot of wind on the shoreline but it doesn't put me off painting there.
For this mixed media work, I have used oil paint, soft pastel and pencils on primed paper. The image is backed with white cartridge paper then a decorative paper on the reverse. My idea is that it can be simply propped on a mantlepiece or shelf like a treasured postcard. Of course, it would look great framed too.
The image measures 11.5cms x 7.5cms approx.
The backing paper measures 12.5cms x 8.5cms approx.
The painting comes in a cellophane print bag.
