Original artwork description:

Here is a painting capturing the essence of driving through the Lincoln Tunnel from Weehawken, New Jersey to Midtown Manhattan. I made this particular drive so many times I wanted to express my idea about the space on a canvas. The painting has 2 cars in the foreground painted in brilliant orange and red with pink and purple highlights. I playfully added the details of side view mirrors, tail lights and tinted windows to the composition. The lines of the tiles lining the tunnel are painted in behind the tomato red guard rail on the left side and then all the way up and around. The artwork is completed with the edges painted a dark gray to match the color of the roadway. All hardware is attached and the work is ready to hang.
