This print is limited to an edition of 20. It has been printed in rich red water-based ink on Fabriano Rosaspina Archival paper. The paper is a good heavy weight and specially handmade so that it will not age with time.

I love the symbolism of the Hawthorn, it is auspicious in many ancient communities of the British Isles and is often associated with the heart. In this print I wanted to convey an image that is aesthetic, but also contains a deeper meaning that connects us with the natural world. The leaves and berries themselves are beautifully shaped and make a fascinating subject to draw.

The print is signed, dated and numbered on the front and arrives securely in a hard-backed envelope.
