Artwork description:

I’ve always liked tortoises and decided to make a print of one which involved experimenting with patterns. I make all of my prints by hand on my etching press. First I design in my sketchbook or on my iPad, then I transfer the image onto a piece of Lino and I carve out the design. I used two colours in this case. The prints vary as I was experimenting with different colours. This one has been made with a crimson colour and ultra mine blue. I always try to capture the true colour when I photograph the work but there may be a slight variation in relation to the true colours.
The image size is 10 X 15 cm but there is a border of 2-3 cm around the edge to allow for framing.
This is one print out of an edition of only 25.

I always package my prints in a reinforced, waterproof envelope. I use Royal Mail to send artwork abroad and it is first class and tracked postage. Small items are sent first class within the UK.
