Lily is a friend's dog who kindly agreed to sit for me so I could build up my dog portfolio. Lily has always looked like a character from Wes Anderson's 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and I think there is a touch of that in this painting. Of course, being a lurcher, Lily can run like the wind so despite my sketch attempts this was mostly painted from photographs!
