Original artwork description:

I started this painting after visiting the Rubens exhibition a couple of times at The National Gallery. I love his work.
( there are what appears to be some white marks to the left of the fruit. They are just light from my flash reflecting off some thick brush marks in the under painting. This may not be obvious from the photo).
