ABOUT:
A series of diptychs "To Myself". It arose from the need and understanding of self-care. I was prompted to create this series by the conditions in which I currently live—the war between Ukraine and Russia. Where the safety of your own and your loved ones is a top priority, at such a time, basic needs are included. The series "To Myself" is special for me, as it reminds me that I need to take care of myself and my inner state despite all the conditions of life. Giving yourself gifts, even small joys or pleasures, can create a positive mood and increase self-esteem. This will have a positive impact on the people around you.
Lily Flowers is about faith and spirituality. For me, this flower is associated with optimistic hope and deep spirituality.
The technique in which I painted this series is quite expressive. I wanted to convey the importance of an emotional moment, like a memory or a reminder that in the chaos of everyday life, you need to remember yourself.
