Original artwork description:

I was inspired to use my pastels to draw this artwork when I had some lilies sitting on the white garden table. The background was blue and I only had to add a patterned cloth to it and I had a perfect still life. I added the apples in a bowl, African Violets and then I had the perfect still life. Pastels do this kind of painting justice as the pure pigments capture the colours and details of the still life. This painting was selected for the Pastel Society's Annual exhibition in the prestigious Mall Gallery in London. This Pastel is framed in a silver frame and has a white mount making it a large dramatic still life painting which is ready to hang.
