This is a mixed textile collage of flowers in a jug. I love all flowers and the idea for this collage came from some lilies that I grew in my own garden this year. They look so impressive in a vase and the good thing about these is that they will never die!
It is nearly as nice to have flowers on the wall as fresh in a vase!
I have used some gouache to give the flowers a bit of a "shimmering" effect.
The collage is backed with a heavy cotton and has a channel at the top with a dowel with hooks so it is ready to hang. It could also be framed if that was preferred.
The collage is initialled on the front and signed on the back.
