A painting based on the sketch "Gray November". When I was painting the sketch for this picture, and it was Saturday, the weather was quiet and cloudy, early twilight was falling. It had already snowed, but the water was still warm and the timid ice was visible only near the shore. And when I had already started working, a snowstorm began, covering the palette with small snow needles. I was already thinking about getting ready to go home, when the weather calmed down again. But then it was a sketch. I was driving home thinking how great it would be to warm up at home, especially on Saturday - a bath day! I love to paint en plein air on Saturday!) That is why the houses that appeared on the other bank in this easel painting, the light from their windows, represented those very thoughts about the warmth of the hearth...

The painting was painted based on the November sketch «Gray November» 2022 year, in the studio, with high-quality oil paints, on Italian linen canvas Lanificio Prato.
