A dramatic mountain landscape in Fall colours.

Lightpools on the Quiraing was made as a long exposure on a windy day on the Quiraing on the Isle of Skye. The Quiraing is a dramatic cliff at the top end of the island, it has a Jurassic history. The fabulous fall colours are lit up in pools of vivid green and orange as the light shoots from behind dark clouds.

I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each canvas has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.
