Original artwork description:

View from the front yard of the lighthouse at Dunree, on the western side of the Inishowen peninsula, Donegal. The angle of the tree branches are testiment to the strong prevailing winds that sweep in from Loch Swilly. I loved the sharp spring light on the whitewashed walls, and the strong shadows. The dry rocky headlands, reminded me of the islands of Greece.
