This original sculpture lamp was made from tulle fabric, heat formed using mixed method including Japanese steamed shibori and the tulle has been stiffened and formed under high heat to add additional texture and form. The beautiful hand- formed base has the crystal look and it was made with heat formed plexiglass The copper wire has been mounted into the base for the extra support and painted silver. This is a lamp sculpture, in beautiful blue and turquoise ocean colors and comes with an electrical cord with a switch and a LED light bulb with candelabra base. It can also be used as a decoration and/or table lamp. Lately I have been fascinated by the beautiful sheer properties of tulle and organza fabrics. The natural flow of the fabric and the ability for the light to go through it, creates a magical display. All my sculptures are done by hand. There are no molds or premade patterns used. There are never two identical sculptures made. Each one is an individual act of spontaneous creativity. The whole sculpture is made in a free-form style. I really enjoy making these little and big treasures in which my inspiration and use of color with the combination of light always lead me into unknown dimensions. I rarely plan my sculptures; most of the time, they are spontaneous acts of creativity and most of the time my inspiration comes from nature and ocean. This sculpture comes with an electrical cord, candelabra style E12 base, and LED light bulb.

This is a original, one of a kind handmade lighted sculpture that works as a lamp.
