Original artwork description:

This is an original pastel painting I did when on a cycle on some forest paths. The light was shining through a gap in the trees during a sunny break in an otherwise rainy day. I used artists' quality pastels so the colours are particularly beautiful. The work is on artists' sanded pastel paper. I used a fixative to finish the work. The art work measures 19.5cm. I have placed it in a 25.5cm black card mount and it has a stiff card backing so is ready to frame.

Materials used:

sanded artists' card paper, soft artists' pastels, card mount
