These two paintings are painted in oil on thick primed cardboard. They were made at the same time under the same mood. I want to combine them into a diptych because I think they would look good on the same wall next to each other. The main character in both paintings is the sky. A sky with a different character. The common color scheme allows these paintings to be placed side by side on the same wall to reflect on the different states of the sky and sea. In both cases, we see that the sun's rays break through the moving volumetric clouds and give us hope for a bright future.
