Original artwork description:

‘Light significance’ highlights the tempory and delicate nature of life.
As the evening settles, a light switch is pressed. Off or on, we cannot say for certain the character’s intention.
Perhaps, they could have reached the day’s end also and crave the light off: a desire to concede and to shut down, both mentally and emotionally. A wish to forget and to merge with the unfolding darkness.
Alternatively, we could have caught them the moment the light is switched on: an awakening of sorts. A resolve that reveals a lack of fear. A pursuit to let the mind explore and embrace our brief visit to this planet.
