Original artwork description:

This is a beautiful representation of the light reflecting on the River Greta near to Burton in Lonsdale in the Yorkshire Dales. This is a tranquil area where I spend as much time as I can, both walking and swimming in the river.
I wanted to capture the magic of the place so I could feel it when i retuned home!

The soft bright leaves are just unfurling over the opening bluebells on the woodland floor.
This is a gentle, hopeful and serene piece that will bring peace into the room where it is placed....
