Original artwork description:

This painting is one of series of four, of a place I often come across on my journey home. It was inspired by the slightly cold light of the morning sun in the late autumn, shining through the branches of trees and the shadows it created on the road. I also loved the colours of the autumn and the sense of peace and quiet on the empty road.
