Original artwork description:
My intention for this painting was to merge conceptual and my studio set up. I also like to mix the effects of indoors with the outside world. I've used a holly branch from my outdoor tree. I've been working on lighting and my intent was to convey a strong chiaroscuro lighting design. My color study is primarily red and green. I always try to tie in my palette colors around the canvas wherever I see fit. I've used a oil primed linen stretched canvas that measures 16" x 20".
