Original artwork description:

Looking outward at physical places that evoke a sense of nostalgia, as well as present and future moments. Looking outward may trigger a realization of what has proved important over time, what brings a feeling of completeness, or rest, or meaning. But we also carry with us our chosen interiors: we create our own environments, our own interiors in our homes as well as our hearts. We adapt our personal surroundings as we change and evolve. Contrast is aways there: outside and inside, natural and personal. We are always searching for what connects us—to each other, to our community to ourselves.

Looking in shows us who we are; looking out shows us where we have been and who we may become. A panorama brings a sense of freedom and release, fresh views bring a sense of possibility. Inside and out. Views and Vantage Points can turn us inside out- in evocative ways.
