A large statement painting.
OIL painting on hand built exhibition stretchers and thick cotton canvas, primed with white acrylic.
The painting reflects the calm which the January weather brought ot the Kent coast this year, and some optimism for the future passing of lockdown after we received our vaccines. My inspiration from past happy times painting on the beach. I often paint from Whitstable Beach, a view enjoyed by Turner.
