Original artwork description:

Living in the English Lake District the hills, fells and various and varied scenes I am surrounded by here have influenced my work since I first started painting the landscape.

This painting is from what is a relatively large series of paintings produced from what was a days walk around the Kentmere Horseshoe. An early start meant the early morning light and mist features heavily in the paintings throughout the series

This painting is complete with a beautifully handmade and hand-painted frame - which leads the eye right into the work. Signed by me on the front and reverse this painting is ready to hang.

Materials used:

oil on canvas board
