This small pastel sketch was produced at a life group I attended. Times during the group are spent doing warm up sketches, before we move on to a long pose suitable for painting. This drawing is typical of my style - very colourful, shying away from flesh tone colours, instead looking for reflections on the skin and tones brought out through the ambient lighting. The drawing is supplied mounted with white board, and wrapped in cellophane, ready for framing.
Materials used:
Hard Conté pastels on Daler Rowney 160gsm Ingres pastel paper.
