Original artwork description:

In times of lock down and confinement, I see us and our lives like having been put on hold; You can see a crowd waiting for the green light, to start stepping forward on that bright and colourful path ahead. This diptych is an extended version of my "Life On Hold", but this time It's on cradled wood instead of aluminium, and includes more people... Materials used: ink watercolour, spray paint and golden leaf flakes. Size 50x30cm (×2).
This is part of the "People" series, inspired on a series of photographs I usually take when I see crowds, loads of people together in masses during their day to day routines. These images awake in my the need of looking at things from another point of view: I’m not the only one living a life, I’m not the only one experiencing whatever I’m experiencing in a particular moment. While we tend to live individually or in couples or even in families, there is a lot more outside… Loads of parallel lives, loads of different points of view.

Materials used:

Pigment fineliner, watercolour, spray paint and golden leaf flakes on wood
