Artwork description:

Perhaps because we are now in the depths of what’s quickly turning into a bitingly cold winter here in the UK that my mind wanders back to warmer, sunnier and in my imagination happier images of country walks in nature. Where the humming sounds are not from distant cars stuck in traffic but erupting from insects buzzing through fields of wild flowers and the ground underneath my feet is teeming with wriggling worms and beetles and not standing on cement paving stones covered in grime.
This is the second of what will be a limited edition of 15 variable prints.
Please be aware that I make each print by hand and often I experiment with different colour combinations so what you are purchasing is often a unique print hand pressed by me.
I have tried to keep the colours as close to the original artwork, however sometimes the subtleties of tones cannot always be captured.

Somerset satin 250gsm and oil based inks
