The painting series “Life” explores several life forms to which we usually don’t pay attention, or don’t find in our daily environments (such as marine life forms, lichens or microscopic fungi)

Corals of Fungia fungites are mostly solitary, found growing on reefs in the Indo-Pacific. The juveniles attach themselves to rock but larger individuals detach themselves and become free living. They are found in various bright colours, the discs are either round or oval and the central mouth, which is surrounded by tentacles, may be a slit.

This painting is sold with a floating wooden frame, ready to hang. Size with frame: 26 x 26 x 2 inch.
