No one would see below the surface level of a lily pond. Monet revealed only its sheer beauty. I wanted to reveal what is happening in the pond, and that is how life is.

Life is a masterpiece of contrasts: as beautiful as a blooming waterlily, as passionate as love, as delicate and precarious as a droplet on a lotus leaf, and as devastating as war. It's these stark contrasts that make life a fascinating canvas for those who appreciate its complexity. Also when one has seen all shades of life pursuit of truth begins - the higher purpose of life!
