'Levitating Sailboat'

I was lucky enough to exhibit this painting with the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries back in 2022. It have since been enjoying it on my studio wall and drawing inspiration from the 'boat out of water' theme. I was quite excited at the time (and still am) over the organic shapes of boat hulls and so worked on a series of sailboats and fishing boats beached at low tide or lifted out of water entirely.
