Multiple layers of rich Oil Pastel, deep Acrylic washes, and Archival Gloss Varnish, were built up to achieve exceptional color vibrancy & luminous depth. The Blue triangle seems to almost levitate above the work. This piece was accomplished just like the "old Masters" used to do it, 6+ hours of hands on layering work time were required to complete this very vibrant illusion.
