I found some very old sheets of white 'Letraset' paper which were so fragile and brittle that they crumbled when I tried to use them, so I used the fragments of paper as part of the collaged rock face in the work. the rocks in the foreground were made from torn and shredded pieces of some of my acrylic and watercolour studies. The birch tree bark had a lovely paper-like quality and so I incorporated it into the foreground to complement the painted areas. Although sold unframed, a basic white frame and mount can be included at cost so it would be ready to hang - please send an enquiry for more details .
