The third in a series studying breath, meditation and spirit. The first two in the series focused on the breath and its ability to overcome adversity. This third piece is a liberation study, an expressive work of freedom, unfettered soul, creative energy. For this reason, the brushstrokes have been left naïve, unblended and visible. There is a dynamic motion towards the upper realm of the work, the reaching of the surface, of authenticity, of connection. This is a visceral painting with a strong sense of spirit and presence.
