Original artwork description:
A few days in October were very foggy. On such days, the city looks unusual. You can find landscapes that are interesting to paint in such foggy weather. Here and in this place I used to be repeatedly. In clear weather, the foreground with trees merged with the background and this landscape seemed uninteresting to me. I did not draw it. But when the background was strewn with fog - the landscape became interesting and expressive. Working on this landscape, I stood at the walls of the Yelets Monastery in Chernigov.
