During the long winter months I was dreaming of warm summers in France. In this painting I have tried to capture some of the warmth, light and colours found in that lovely country. I have used a palette knife to create some texture, especially on the walls which is reminiscent of the rough plaster and limewash ubiquitous in many country buildings. The large terracotta pot is offset by the blue and white of the Cornishware pot.
The sides are left white ready to hang but suitable for framing if preferred. It is initialed on the front and signed on the back.
**Please note that the home interior image does NOT show the painting to scale**
I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service. Please note that payment of import duty/tax is the responsibility of the buyer.
