Typical landscape " Les Baux de Provence (FR) " we typically says in French "Le mas" for the farm and the the "back country" for the mountains"

This painting dated 1982 shows my early painting stage, with a strong fascination for heavy drawing and hard color, as post impressionistic influence; but the real light and color is very hard in this part of the country.
