Artwork description:

Celtic people thought hares had supernatural powers and strong links to the spirit world. The hares elusive behaviour and solitary existence enforces their reputation as a magical creature. It was this image I wanted to capture.

The method used to produce this image - Etching on copper plate with hard ground and aquatint.

oil based printing ink on Somerset Satin paper
