If you ever see a leopard on safari it’s regarded as very lucky. I was lucky to see one and it’s majesty and lonely figure is something to behold. It’s alertness and constant need to be on guard I aimed to capture this in his eyes. I try to concentrate on what I think would be the emotion of the animal rather than anything technical. There are lots of brilliant wildlife artists and I think I suit best concentrating on the thoughts of the animal. I hope that comes across.
