Painted from life in the artist's studio in Minneapolis. Features a group of Hellebore, or Lenten Rose flowers in shades of burgundy wine and mauve, accented by leaves in mint and pine green. Painted with oil and casein paint on board. Dripping and splattering effects in the background were created with casein paint and glazed over with oil. Background colors include green, rose pink, and cream. Framed in a 3.5" wide wood frame with a mahogany colored finish, and a deep scoop and rope detail design. May be purchased unframed by request.
