I tend to avoid painting patterns (especially repeat patterns), I much prefer painting the person than somebody's taste in fashion. But, for some reason this sheer dress looked really good on the model and I decided to give it a go. And... I really like the outcome. Somehow the pattern seemed to fit my style of painting, which I like to call 'illusion of detail'...
