This artwork is an original, one-off work by the artist.

This work explores painting a full abstract with the left hand only and the emotions and visuals that are invoked. I am ambidextrious and usually paint with both hands, so explored this restiction offers a different set of emotions. I just let my emotions flow with the paint, each stroke of the brush feeds the emotion for the next and so on. There are different emotions all contrasted together It is an exploration of abstractionism and painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 86 cm in height by 212 cm in width and removed for international shipping.

This work was created in March 2018.

In my paintings, I use finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.

SHIPPING
Shipping costs for this work internationally can be prohibitively expensive and so the canvases are taken off the stretchers and rolled up and shipped in a tube, avoiding heavy shipping costs.
